Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 under very poor conditions. Her mother was an unsuccessful teacher and actor, was a salesperson for automobiles, while her father worked as an automobile salesman. Jennifer lived the majority of her youth living in British Columbia, after her mother moved there with her four children.
